I am an American living in Tel Aviv for many years. I am also in my retirement years. I have followed Eurovision for many years. Last year when Netta Barzilai won, I was truly surprised and I am glad to see Eurovision coming to Tel Aviv. Her song last year was quirky, but fun. It took me a couple of listens before I could not get it out of my head. She won me over. This new song is a total disappointment. The melody does nothing, the lyrics are stupid. They may have underlying meaning but they are awkward. There is nothing catchy or musical about this tune. Now lets address this 1m shekel video. Talk about disappointing...wow Please go back to the drawing board. You only get a chance to be a star for a fleeting second. Is she going to be a one hit wonder. I am sorry to sound harsh, but I must say that I am disappointed. But you have my best wishes...
