3. Lucky city Tel Aviv for various reasons is enjoying world wide popularity due to its climate, reduced air fares & accessability, plus liberal & gay friendly. Yet from a recent visit I found it in many parts in the center rather worn, shabby & run down. By comparison is other major cities it is still provincial and living as if in the 50s. Check out even Ben Yehuda or Allenby Streets. The shop fronts are still mostly pre indendence, dirty windows and selling mostly rubbish. Facades are crumbling and rthe street lighting is so low as to create a sombrfe atmosphere. The city needs a revamp urgently Peter Ellis | 06.04.19 (ל"ת)
