I am surprised that no mention is made about the liability and roles of these multi billion dollar entities, McKesson,Cardinal Health,AmeriSource Bergen,H.D.Smith as well as the PBM industry. They share the blame as gate keepers in the distribution and approval of controlled substances.These entities were negligent in their diligence they were supposed to uphold and deserve much blame too. Opiods were not shipped directly from Actavis(Teva) to pharmacies but through these middlemen who controlled the flow of product .
