Facial recognition, privacy and freedom of expression Facial recognition and privacy can co-exist, simply by limiting access to the results of facial recognition to individual case, court authorized access with rigorous oversight. Privacy and freedom of expression, however, will never co-exist harmoniously. Anonymous slander, smearing and resultant fake news is unacceptable misleading and propagandizing that will, inexorably, lead to chaos and violence.
