Chinese history in its realaitonship with Israel has ensured it promises the earth and delivers a few buckets of sand. It promised hundreds of millions of dollars worth of investmentin Research and Development and eventually put a few million dollars in while Israel opened a technology centre in China at a cost of hundreds of millions of dollars - even if it was China that invested all of the money, the reality remains the same - no change in China's political position towards Israel (hostile in all international public forums), nil nvestment in Israeli cultural institutions (why waste money shoring up the relationship in terms of bilateral friendship) and in its takeover of Israeli companies it has immediately upped the prices to maximise its Israeli profits and minimise its costs in dealing with the Jewish state. With respect to Bibi, the only people who currently benefit from the Israeli relationship with China are his rich friends who import all that cheap Chinese labour).

China are very clever and Israelis are very naïve and just want to be loved. A very dangerous situation!

Trade can be good but be especially careful when dealing with China. Learn from the USA and Trump.
