Startup Wants to Help Users Overcome the Hardships of Booking Ski Vacations
WeTrip, a company developing a booking platform for ski holidays, has raised $1 million from investors including low-cost airline EasyJet
Social travel platform WeTrip Ltd. has raised $1 million. The company is behind WeSki, a booking platform for ski holidays.
WeTrip’s backers include low-cost airline EasyJet and Uri Levine, co-founder of social navigation app Waze bought in 2013 by Google.

WeSki is designed to offer users easy-to-book personalized ski packages using the WeSki app. As part of its service, WeSki offers ski resort reviews, prices, forecasted snowfall, and detailed information on ski tracks.
“As someone who for years faced great difficulties while trying to book ski vacations that would suit my needs, I dream of assisting people everywhere to easily build their personalized ski vacations,” Yotam Idan, WeSki co-founder and CEO, said in a statement. “I believe that this startup could change the way skiers book vacations.”
Founded in 2016 in Tel Aviv, WeTrip currently employs 12 people in offices in Tel Aviv and London. The startup participated in the Tel Aviv-based SigmaLabs accelerator and was recently accepted into the Founders Factory accelerator in London, through which EasyJet’s investment was facilitated.
