Database Software Developer Redis Labs Doubles its Tel Aviv Office Space
The Israel-based company lists Microsoft, eBay, Twitter and Apple among its customers
Israel-based database software developer Redis Labs Inc. has signed a five-year lease for new, 17,000 square-foot offices in a Tel Aviv high rise, a person familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity told Calcalist.

Founded in 2011, Redis Labs develops and sells database management software based on Redis, a popular open source database. Customers include Microsoft, American Express, eBay, Twitter, Apple, Cisco, and Dell EMC.
The company raised $86 million in total funding to date, according to information from Seattle-based market research company Pitchbook Data inc., the latest round of $44 million was completed in August. Company backers include Goldman Sachs, Dell Technologies Capital, Viola Ventures, and Bain Capital.

Redis Labs currently employs 120 people in Israel, and plans to hire 50 additional employees following the expansion, which will double the company’s current Tel Aviv office space, the person familiar with the matter said. Redis Labs employs 80 more employees in its Mountain View, California headquarters and in its additional London office.
