Vidyo’s Eran Westman Joins Viola Growth as Partner

Viola Growth, the growth capital vehicle of Israel-based Viola Group, has announced Wednesday the appointment of Eran Westman as partner. Westman was the CEO and president of Vidyo Inc., a company developing embedded video technology, a role he held until December 2017.
Westman has vast experience regarding the global challenges Israeli growth companies face, Viola Growth Co-Founder and General Partner Harel Beit-On said in a statement.
In June, Viola Growth announced the appointment of former Goldman Sachs senior vice president Rafi Carmeli as partner.

Prior to his roles in Vidyo, Westman, 48, was a founding member of wireless backhaul company Ceragon Networks Ltd., where he held various senior roles including executive vice president of worldwide sales and of global business. Viola Growth manages $430 million in assets across two funds. Its portfolio companies include interactive content company Playbuzz Ltd., digital market intelligence company SimilarWeb Ltd., and alternative financing startup Behalf Inc.
