Report: Israeli cybersecurity unicorn Radware negotiating sale to private equity firm Siris Capital

According to CNBC, the acquisition of the $1.7 billion company has yet to be finalized

Nasdaq-listed information security company Radware is closing on a deal to be acquired by private equity firm Siris Capital, CNBC is reporting. According to the report, talks are still ongoing and a deal has yet to have been finalized.

Veteran Israeli entrepreneurs Yehuda and Zohar Zisapel still own a 13% stake in the company which they co-founded in 1996. Radware is based in Tel Aviv and New Jersey and provides cybersecurity services for data centers. The company employs around 1,000 people and has a market cap of a little under $1.7 billion.

Radware's shares hit an all-time high this year, climbing by over 50% over the past year.
