Mor Grisariu-Pastor appointed VP Payments at Karma
Grisariu-Pastor previously led management and strategy for Mastercard and Deloitte, where she focused on promoting innovative and advanced payment solutions
Grisariu-Pastor will lead payment activities at Karma. She has over a decade of experience in fintech strategy, where she began her career as a manager for Deloitte Consulting and later led the Israeli branch of Mastercard's global consulting firm, placing an emphasis on promoting innovative and creative solutions for the payments industry.
At Mastercard, Grisariu-Pastor was also part of the European leadership team, and managed projects for leading European banks, including the creation of issuer digital wallets which made advanced payments solutions accessible to millions of European consumers.
Karma develops a shopping app and extension based on AI, which offers a tool for shopping planning, automatic detection of promotions, financial benefits, price tracking and inventory. The company has raised about $34 million from private investors and venture capital funds, of which $25 million was raised last month from Target Global and MoreTech Ventures. Currently, there are some 3 million Karma users, who according to the company saved $144 million in 2021 when making purchases online from global brands such as Sephora, Net-A-Porter, Urban Outfitters, Farfetch, and Macy's.
