In a letter to employees, Elad Sity, NeuroBlade’s CEO and co-founder, wrote: “I’m excited to share an important milestone in NeuroBlade’s journey. We have signed a definitive agreement for NeuroBlade’s core engineering team to join AWS Annapurna Labs, where we will play a leading role in innovating on next-generation products. I want to thank you all for your commitment to our mission. You’re all incredibly talented and I’m grateful for what we’ve built together. Each of you has contributed innovative solutions and cutting-edge thinking that has made NeuroBlade what it is today.”
Founded in 2018 by Sity and CTO Eliad Hillel, both alumni of the IDF’s elite Unit 81 and early employees at SolarEdge, NeuroBlade has raised $110 million to date. Its investors include Corner Ventures, which led the company’s most recent funding round, as well as Intel Capital, Grove Ventures, StageOne Ventures, and Marius Nacht.
“This transaction marks the next chapter for NeuroBlade,” added Sity. “For me and Eliad, NeuroBlade has always been more than a company — it has been part of our lives and our family. Over the past eight years, we’ve built technologies we are deeply proud of, and a work environment and culture we always dreamed of.”
He noted that, separate from the AWS deal, NeuroBlade had already completed internal organizational changes. “Independent of this transaction, we finalized internal team changes earlier. The software and system teams joining AWS will focus on our transformative next chapter where the impact of our work will scale exponentially.

NeuroBlade developed a novel data analytics architecture designed to eliminate bottlenecks in data processing by integrating computation directly into memory. Its memory accelerator technology combines proprietary hardware, software, and algorithms into a unified system installed in server farms to accelerate large-scale calculations.
