“We’re going to be seeing thousands of robots deployed across the world,” said Sandy Hefftz, CEO and Founder of Bellboy Robotics, speaking to CTech at Calcalist, CTech and Bank Leumi’s Mind The Tech conference in Berlin. Hefftz spoke alongside Timothy Wright, Chief Capital Markets Officer at Aroundtown, who explained how the real estate giant’s accelerator, ATechX, was built to bridge early-stage proptech with operational-scale environments. “The idea of the accelerator is to give proptech solutions an opportunity to test the solutions on a real-life portfolio and operations,” he said. Wright described the model as mutually beneficial, offering startups the chance to “come and really improve our business and we’ll make them market ready.”

“You can build robots and build the brain and the physical AI, but the end game is the day to day operations,” Hefftz explained. Through ATechX, Bellboy has gained access to varied real-world deployments, from hotels to office properties, which she said allowed the company to iterate quickly and validate ROI. Looking ahead, Hefftz noted, “We’re going to grow here in Europe but also in the US.” Wright, meanwhile, said ATechX is preparing its next cohort and continues to seek “unique solutions which can really drive the industry forward.”
