“There is so much value to unlock in the creator economy”

“The creator economy is growing exponentially. I’m excited to be involved in this space because there is so much value to be unlocked here,” said Brendan Gahan, Partner & Chief Social Officer at independent creative agency Mekanism. “Historically big brands and companies have had a monopoly on media, but now with the shopification of the internet, the small businesses who are essentially media companies and personalities, they’ve got this opportunity to unlock so much value.”

Yuval Tal, Managing Partner at Team8, spoke about what makes Team8 different in the VC landscape. “Team8 starts companies from scratch. Finding the idea and researching the idea to try to improve the probability of companies to succeed. Once there is a validation of a market fit, and a potential partner, we then connect the entrepreneurs with the money and give them a kiss of life.”
