Israel-Based InfinityAR Partners With China’s Nibiru to Market VR Technologies
In 2016 InfinityAR raised an $18 million C round investment from Chineses e-commerce company Alibaba and Japanese entertainment and IT company Sun Corporation
Israel-based augmented reality software startup Infinity Augmented Reality Israel Ltd., announced a marketing collaboration with China-based virtual reality software developer Nanjing Ruiyue Technology Co., Ltd., also known as Nibiru, the company announced last week.

As part of the collaboration, the companies will market their VR technologies together to augmented reality (AR) glasses manufacturers. The offer will include InfinityAR's simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology and Nibiru's virtual reality operating system.
Founded in 2013, and based in Ramat Gan, a town in the Tel Aviv metropolitan area, InfinityAR develops an augmented reality software. In 2016 the company raised an $18 million C round investment from Chineses e-commerce company Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. and Japanese entertainment and IT company Sun Corporation Ltd.InfinityAR CEO Motti Kushnir said in a statement that the collaboration will bring affordability to the fast-growing market of AR. "Through this partnership, we will drive the much sought-after sustainable mass production of AR glasses, and fulfill our vision of staying at the forefront of AR innovation and providing a natural user experience, all at an affordable price, and without compromising quality," he said.
