The company, which has offices in Silicon Valley and central Israel, raised $27 million to date, $23 million of the sum in December. Geographical location, seasonal factors, the day of the week and holidays or large events can all affect the way drivers use Waze, Mr. Drai told Calcalist in a Tuesday interview. What Anodot does for the company is use Waze's driver data and user experiences to analyze trends and provide actionable insights.
When choosing Anodot, Waze looked for a solution that will quickly raise the alarm regarding potential problems with app performance and user experience, said in a statement Orna Amir, analytics group manager at Waze.
