Founded in 2014 by three brothers, Fabrice, Avi and Gilles Haïat, Yoobic’s mobile service allows retailers and brands to monitor in-store marketing and sales in real time. Yoobic has 100 clients in 44 countries worldwide, including automotive brands Peugeot and Citroën, German discount supermarket chain Aldi and French fashion company Lacoste SA, according to company statements.
Yoobic will use the funding to hire 100 new employees for its Tel Aviv, London and Paris offices, to develop its service, the company said in a statement. The company also intends to enter the U.S. market by launching a New York office in September and expanding its marketing team.
The Haïat brothers’ previous company, property management software developer Vizelia SA, was acquired by French energy company Schneider Electric SE in 2010 for an undisclosed amount.
