Asos Executives to Visit Israel in Search of Local Startups

A delegation of Asos marketing and technology executives will meet with startups developing retail-related technologies

 Executives at U.K.-based online fashion retailer Asos PLC are set to visit Israel in January to meet with representatives from 20 local startups, Re:Tech a Tel Aviv-based retail-oriented startup hub announced Thursday .

The delegation of marketing and technology executives will meet with startups working on various retail-related technologies including image and video processing, virtual and augmented reality, 3D printing, textile printing, industrial robots, user acquisition, and automatic content creation.

In June, Asos announced it is partnering with Re:Tech to scout for e-commerce and retail-related startups in Israel. In April, Asos announced a collaboration with Israeli fashion startup Zeekit Online Shopping Ltd., which develops a virtual fitting room for online retailers.
