Unilever Taps Optimove for Marketing Technology

Multinational consumer goods company Unilever has signed a deal with data-based marketing company Optimove, also known as Mobius Solutions Ltd., to use the latter’s technology in its marketing operations.
Optimove has also recently signed similar deals with fashion house Diane von Furstenberg, children apparel online retailer Hanna Andersson, and underwear company Spanx Inc. The company reports over 300 global clients.
Optimove is now in the process of recruiting 60 new employees in Israel, after adding 80 people over the past year to support expansion in Europe and the U.S.

Founded in 2009, Optimove provides data and analytics-based services for planning, executing, measuring, and optimizing customer marketing plans. The company employs 210 people in its research and development center in Tel Aviv and in its New York and London Offices. Optimove raised a first, $20 million funding round in 2016.
The deal with Unilever follows the multinational’s strategic pivot to direct to consumer sales, Optimove founder and CEO Pini Yakuel told Calcalist in an interview Thursday.
