At Computex, Intel Unveils Israeli-Developed 10th Gen Core Processors
The processors are based on the company’s “Sunny Cove” core architecture, developed in Haifa

On Tuesday, Intel unveiled its 10th Gen core processors at the Computex 2019 trade show in Taiwan. The company’s Israeli research and development center in northern Israeli city Haifa, played a major part in the development of the new processors, Intel said in a statement. The processors, dubbed “Ice Lake” are created based on on the company’s 10nm process technology, as well as the new “Sunny Cove” core architecture, which was developed in Haifa, the company said. The processors will be commercially available later this year. agreed to invest NIS 40 billion ($11.9 billion) in the expansion.
