Peta-scale data analytics startup SQream announced on Monday that it has appointed Aliza Tamir, Rony Greenberg, and Matti Rosengart to three leadership positions at the company. Tamir will be joining the company as Chief Marketing Officer, Greenberg will be its Chief Business Development Officer, and Rosengart will be its new VP R&D, respectively.
"SQream has been accelerating growth over the past year due to the rapid adoption of the platform by global giants in fields such as telecom, banking, manufacturing, among many other verticals,” said Ami Gal, CEO and Co-Founder of SQream. “This is due to the transition from the age of big data to the world of massive data. The need to process terabytes to petabytes of data within minutes and drive business value is essential. The exceptionally talented and experienced management team we have recruited will lead the development of the next generation of our solutions and the next stage of our growth in the global market."
Before joining SQream, Tamir was on the founding team of Microsoft Israel. For over 16 years, she held senior positions at Microsoft Global in Seattle and Europe. She was also CMO of Netafim and VP of Global Marketing at NICE. Greenberg has held senior management positions at Eyesight Technologies, Paz Enterprise, Eunambol, and IXI Mobile, as well as board membership positions at VIBE Imaging Analytics and NeoClarus. Rosengart will be joining after serving as Director of Catalog and Classification at eBay and was VP of R&D at startup companies including Netformx, Orchestra Group, Time to Know, and Zend Technology.
SQream was founded in 2010 by Gal and Razi Shoshani, who serves as the company’s CTO. It delivers an SQL database powered by a graphic-processing unit designed to resolve issues with big data to help businesses interact with their digital assets. To date, it has raised more than $75 million and is used by enterprises including LG Uplus, C&S, Pubmatic, AIS, and more.
