Eko, an Israeli startup that has developed an interactive video technology that helps bridge the gap between online and in-store shopping, announced on Wednesday its appointment of Elad Goldenberg as the General Manager of its e-commerce division.

Prior to joining eko, Goldenberg established and managed eBay's commercial operations in Israel, which functioned as a leading platform for global e-commerce sales and purchases in Israel. In addition, Goldenberg is the co-founder and academic director of Digital-IL, an e-commerce school that has trained over 2,000 graduates across the industry.

Goldenberg is also the CEO of the startup Reptile, which he co-founded alongside Roy Tartman. Reptile enriches online technical information and provides specifications for products, as well as helping shoppers locate new products, thereby increasing the number of online purchases and gaining shoppers’ trust. For the past six months, Reptile has worked as eko and Walmart's design partner, and with this appointment, Reptile's activities will become fully integrated into eko.
