Netflix Users in Israel Pay More to Watch Less, Report Says
The average price per title in Israel is $0.00164, compared with $0.00137 in the U.S. and $0.00124 in Canada
Netflix users in Israel pay more to watch less than their Canada, U.S., and U.K. counterparts, according to a report released Monday by U.K.-based consumer price comparison company Comparitech Ltd.

Comparitech surveyed 76 out of the 190 countries in which Netflix’s online media streaming service is available and compared the monthly price of a basic plan and the number of titles available in each location.
Israel ranked 13th with a monthly price of NIS 29.90 ($8.1) and 4,951 titles on offer, which translate into an average price of $0.00164 per title. The price per title in the U.S., which is ranked seventh, is $0.00137, and $0.00141 in the U.K. that is ranked ninth. Canada tops the list with a library composed of 5,561 titles at an average price of $0.00124 per title. Denmark ranks last with 3,305 titles at an average cost of $0.00361.

Comparitech also compared the annual cost of a Netflix subscription to the country's annual average wage. This translated to just 0.17% in Canada, and 0.28% in Israel, Sweden, and Denmark. Pakistan, India, and the Philippines are where the service takes up the greatest chunks off of the average wage, amounting to 5.42%, 4.56%, and 2.99% respectively.
